Walking Club: The Walking Club will meet on Wednesday, 12th October at 9.30am in the Burney Room. We hope to walk at Stormont. New walkers are always welcome.
THURSDAY TOGETHER: Our special guest this week will be George Hewitt, our church organist, who will play a selection of music including some sing-a-longs. You will be welcome to join us in the Burney Room at 2.30pm.

Church Notices
Congregational Meeting Wednesday 19th October at 7.30pm. To discuss the necessary repair to the church roof. The congregation will hear two reports, one on the state of the roof and the other the state of our finances and the cost of funding repairs. Several resolutions will be brought to the congregation to discern the scale of repair and renovation.
THANK YOU: Maud Fleming would like to thank all those who contributed in any way to the Coffee Morning for the Hospice. £560 has been raised and forwarded to them.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX APPEAL 2016: Shoebox Sunday this year is on 16th October and we invite all members of the congregation to support this worthy cause.
As in previous years you can help in a number of ways:-
1) Filling a shoebox – leaflets giving guidance as to suitable contents are available in Mosaic.
2) Giving gifts – suitable gifts for inclusion in shoeboxes can be left in the container provided at the back of the Church opposite the Church Library.
Anyone who wishes to contribute to the Shoebox Appeal can do so by seeing Ann or Maureen who will be pleased to accept your donation. Thank you all for your support. Maureen McConkey and Ann Robinson.
