Japan – Beneath the Surface, Sunday 10th September at 6:30pm. We are looking forward to hearing from Pastor Hirata, who has been helping Alison Orr with Japanese ministry in Dublin while completing Doctoral studies at Union College. He will share about Japanese culture and Christianity, the state of the church in Japan and some of the challenges faced by Japanese Christians. There will be the opportunity to sample some Japanese food, experience Japanese culture and pray for the spread of the gospel among Japanese people.

FOOD HYGIENE: In order to comply with council regulations, anyone involved in catering in church must attend a food hygiene course. Antrim and Newtownabbey Council have agreed to run this in our church in September. Please contact Roberta Elliott or email office@glengormley.org to register.

ROADWORKS: Sunday 10th September Access to church carpark will only be as a left turn coming from Hightown Road/Ballyclare Road/ Carnmoney Road/ Sandyknowes direction. Diversions will be in place from Belfast direction and Church Road. Pedestrian access via side steps at the bus stop, will be available as usual, so parking at Farmley carpark will probably be the best option.
