ART CLASS starts Tuesday 13th September at 9.30am. New members welcomed.

THURSDAY TOGETHER: Thursday Together resumes on the 15th September at 2.30pm in the Burney Room.  We extend a warm welcome to anyone who would be free to join us on a Thursday.

PARENT AND TODDLERS: New volunteers to put out toys for Parent and Toddlers are needed. Toys can be put out any time on a Wednesday. Please speak to Essie Brice if you can help.

 

Church Notices

Holiday leave: Rev George Moore and Mr Jim Lyttle are on holiday leave for the next two weeks. Please contact the manse directly regarding pastoral care. Our caretaker, Mr David McGilton is also on holidays for the next two weeks. Organisations are asked to ensure bins are emptied and items are returned when they are tidying up.

THANK YOU to those who contributed to Annual Children’s Society collection in June. A cheque for £1663.20 has been forwarded from our congregation.

Forthcoming Mosaic Events

Mosaic Gardening will be held on Friday 16th September 10 -11 am. Come and see a display of late summer plants and enjoy a chat over a cup of coffee.

MOSAIC VOLUNTEERS: We need help Thursday evenings, Friday mornings and evenings. This opportunity is open to 16 year olds and above. Offering one session per month or if you prefer to volunteer for each week for a month (e.g. every Thursday evening for October only,) this would transform our rota. Anyone doing Duke of Edinburgh Award would be particularly welcome. Please speak to Amy Hunter or Hazel Kyle if you can help in any way.

Are you tired of a messy Glengormley? Do you have a few hours that you could help us give Glengormley Town Centre a small make over? If the answer is YES than come along to The Barron Hall on Thursday 15th September at 6pm. Equipment will be supplied and supper will be served afterwards for all your hard work. Contact Kathy 90849314 or 07801989917 for catering purpose. This event has been supported by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Councils Community Outreach and Involvement grant.
