Organisational Notices

PW MISSION FUND: A chance to recycle unwanted clothing and help our missionaries at the same time. Please bring these items along in a plastic bag on Sundays until the end of March and leave in library corner or give to any PW member. Mens, ladies and children’s clothes. Ties, belts, shoes, handbags, sheets, towels and curtains. Full details on notice board in mosaic.

PW (Presbyterian Women) next meeting on Monday 1st February 2016 in the Burney Room at 8pm. All Ladies Welcome.

Thursday Together: Today we will be having Colin from the ‘SPUD BEARS MINISTRY’.  This mission is to supply hospitals and orphanages in the developing world with cuddly and talking Teddy Bears, to help bring comfort and God’s love to the children when they are most afraid.  We meet in the Burney Room at 2.30pm and all will be welcome.

 

Church Notices

‘SECOND Chance’ Video, Sunday 7th February 11am service in Glengormley Presbyterian Church. This is being sponsored by the Mid Week Bible Study. We wish to encourage people to think deeply about personal faith. You may wish to invite someone to church on Sunday morning 7th. Please take one of the ‘Second Change’ invites that are on the sign up desk in Mosaic.

NEWTOWNABBEY STREET PASTORS: The training dates for the next session of training are Wednesdays from 27th January to 2nd March. Training will be held in Corrs Corner Hotel. A Buffet meal will be available from 5.45 pm with a view to starting at approx. 6.10 pm. The training will last for around 4 hours (hopefully finishing before 10 pm). If you intend attending, please advise so that food came be made available.  (Dietary requirements should also be advised – Gluten, Vegetarian etc.)

DEVINE HEALING MINISTRY: In partnership with Christian Vision for Men: Three of the Ulster Rugby Players will give their testimony at the service in St Anne’s Cathedral at 8.00pm on Monday 25th January 2016.

Four Corners Festival  28th January to 7th February 2016

“From Syria with grace” – Thursday 28th January at 7.15pm in Belfast City Hall  A chance to meet some of the Syrian Refugees living amongst us with Rev Richard Kerr (Templepatrick PC).

Nua at Clonard Monastery – Friday 29th January at 7.30pm in Clonard Monastery A night of creative prayer and story telling to launch 100 days of prayer for 100 years of history.

4 Corners Churches Walk – Saturday 30th January. The walk, led by Paul Symonds, will start at 2.30pm at St George’s Church, High Street, then going to First Belfast Presbyterian, followed by St Mary’s, Chapel Lane (the three oldest churches in Belfast) and ending up at Sandy Row Methodist Church, spending about 20 minutes in each church, learning about the life and ministry of each congregation.

The Art of Listening – BBC Morning service at 10.15am on Sunday 31 January (available later on BBC iplayer) from Fitzroy Presbyterian Church. Preacher: Rev Heather Morris

Mosaic Gardening will meet on Friday 29th January 10 – 11 am. All welcome. Have a cup of coffee in Mosaic and see a display of early flowering plants.

CAP MONEY COURSE: Monday 1st, 8th and 15th February at 7.30pm in Mosaic. Sign up for other programmes in Mosaic.

Time Out 4 u – HELP NEEDED! If you could give up 2 1/2 hrs on Tuesday mornings in March (1st, 8th & 15th) from 9.30am – 12 noon to help with the crèche we would LOVE to have you join the team!! Please speak to Amy Hunter.

Ben Smith would like to thank all those who supported him last Sunday night regarding his Peru trip. The total amount raised was £1600 and Ben would like to thank everyone not only for their financial support but also their ongoing prayer support.
