TAKING CARE: Just a reminder of the two local dates for FOUNDATION Training for NEW leaders :
10.30am -12.30pm Wednesday 21st October in Assembly Buildings
Or 7.30pm – 9.30pm Tuesday 3rd November in Whitehouse Presbyterian Church
If you have completed an Access NI application and have not yet completed your Foundation Training, please prioritise this. We only ask for 2 hours of your time every three years for this important training to ensure that we our looking after ourselves and the children/ young people in our care. If neither of these dates suit you, please speak to me.
REFRESHER TRAINING: We have our Refresher Training confirmed for Monday 23rd November 2015 at 7.30pm in Mosaic. I have emailed Leaders in Charge and there is a list up in Mosaic of those who are due. Please check the list – I’ve included all who would be due even if not in current leadership. Attending training ensures that you can still volunteer. Please indicate on the list if you can attend – if not please indicate which other alternative Refresher date suits you, so that I can inform the Taking Care Office to expect you. We only ask for two hours of your time every three years to complete this important training. Thank you for volunteering. Lesley Bell

Thursday Together: We are having Bill O’Neill speaking at our meeting this week. His talk is entitled ‘The Hitchhikers Guide to the Cavehill’ and all are welcome in the Burney Room at 2.30pm.
