FOOTBALL: GPC United Football is back! The latest football match raising funds for Tearfund will the take place at Seaview (Crusaders FC) on Sat 16th October, kick off at 6:30pm. All support is welcome and donations gratefully received. SHOEBOX APPEAL 2021: The Shoebox Team in their 22nd year recommend that members of the congregation fill a shoebox ‘on-line’ similar to last year.   Look up the Samaritan’s Purse UK website and click on ‘Shoebox on line’ and follow the easy instructions. It will cost £20, £5 of which will be the shipping fee.  Please remember, that if you fill a shoebox on line to let a member of the team know, so that, it can be included in the churches overall total number of boxes for 2021.  If any member of the congregation has already purchased, made or knit items to fill shoeboxes, please do not bring them to the Church but let us know on (028 90836340) and they will be collected.  If anyone does not wish to fill a box ‘on line’ but would like to make a donation towards the appeal, they will find a collection box beside the display in Mosaic. Anyone who may be thinking of purchasing items to help in the filling of shoeboxes in the future, might consider some of the following: pencil cases, pencils, six-inch rulers, pens, small hair brushes and combs, small gloves or mitts, A5 notebooks, tennis balls (but not for dogs), toothbrushes in twin packs, face cloths and small fluffies.  The Shoebox Team hope and pray that we are able to return to a more normal situation next year.
